What Is Tandem Skydiving?
If you would like to experience every aspect of our sport on your very first jump, then a tandem skydive is for you. Tandem skydiving allows you to experience the thrill of freefall without any extensive training and a minimum of fuss. It is a quick and easy introduction to the sport using a dual harness system with you as the passenger. Your instructor controls the freefall, parachute opening and safe landing.
After a short informative briefing, you will jump harnessed to the front of our highly qualified parachuting instructors from 13,000ft – 15,000ft (depending on location). You will enjoy an adrenaline packed freefall reaching speeds in excess of terminal velocity, 120mph, followed by up to 6 minutes flying under a parachute.
Tandem skydiving is available to almost anyone provided they are aged 16+ and weigh less than 16 stone. No previous experience required. Check our full list of Tandem restrictions.
Our instructors’ extensive tandem skydiving skills and experience range from operational military tandem insertion into the world’s most hostile environments to examining civilian tandem courses. Skydiving is our job, it is our hobby and it’s our passion. We want to make your experience fun and exhilarating, but in a controlled and safe environment.
Our prices are all inclusive - there are no hidden charges. You may choose to add a video and photo package (the only extra cost), however, you can decide that on the day of your Tandem Skydive, subject to availability. All of our skydiving prices include provisional membership to British Skydiving which provides third party liability insurance during your skydive experience.
All our staff members are qualified skydivers with the majority being qualified and highly experienced tandem instructors as well as other skydiving disciplines, therefore they will always provide you with accurate information.
Parabellum Skydiving promotes all-inclusive environment and we are very pleased to be able to accommodate customers with varying degrees and levels of disability. We strongly believe that skydiving with disability is not only possible but also is very enjoyable and satisfying, with the accomplishment achieved taken to the next level for both the customer and the instructor alike.
